Tasks Module
Today’s Tasks
A daily planning ritual: schedule your day each morning, get a gentle midday check-in, wrap up at the end of the day, and — like a personal assistant keeping your week straight — a quick look back at how the day before actually went, so nothing gets forgotten by the time the week is over.
Your day
1Schedule your day
The first time you open the app each day, Today’s Tasks asks what you’re planning — add each task one at a time (title, priority, an optional time, and optional notes), then review the list before moving on.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| Add tasks | Each one is a real task — it shows up in the regular Tasks module too, due today. |
| Review | Fix a title or priority, or add notes, before you start your day. |
| Break & close time | When you plan to take a break and when you’re closing out — powers the midday check-in and end-of-day wrap-up below. If your close time is more than 4 hours after your break with nothing else planned, you’ll get a friendly heads-up to consider a second short break. |
Not ready to add everything yet? I’ll add more later keeps going and quietly reminds you at the midday check-in.

2Midday check-in
About an hour before your break time, anything still open from today’s list shows up in your regular reminders popup — no separate screen, just the same panel you already use for due-date reminders.

3Wrapping up
About 30 minutes before your close time, Today’s Tasks shows whatever’s still open and lets you mark it complete (with an optional note on how it went) right there.
Looking back
Reporting on a past day
Right after you finish scheduling today, if yesterday never got a proper report, you’ll be asked about it — same complete/notes screen as the end-of-day wrap-up, just for a past date.
Not a good moment? Pick Later today and you’ll get a time picker with a sensible default already filled in — Today’s Tasks will check back in then instead. Nothing left to report? That’s everything for that day marks it closed for good.
Once yesterday is resolved (reported or explicitly closed), if the day before that still has nothing recorded, you’ll be asked about that one too — named by day and date. A day with nothing scheduled on it at all is never asked about; only days with real activity.

The weekly nudge
While you’re reporting on a past day, if other days earlier this week still need a report, a small note says how many — a gentle push to get the whole week filled in before it ends, not a separate popup of its own.
Looking back
Friday’s weekend prompt
Once each Friday, you’ll be asked if there’s anything worth planning for the weekend — a meeting, an event, anything. Enter something, choose the day you want to be reminded (Saturday by default, or Sunday or Monday) and optionally a time, and it’s saved as a real task due then; skip it and you won’t be asked again until next Friday.
Other features
Notes on a task
Every task you touch inside Today’s Tasks — adding it, editing it, marking it complete, reporting on a past day — has the same optional Notes field you’d see on the regular task form. Use it to jot down what actually happened, a detail worth remembering, or context for whoever looks at the task later. Under every Notes field there’s a paperclip button: attach photos or files (images, PDFs, Office documents, zips). Photos show as thumbnails you can click to view full-size, the same way as in Team Chat, and other files download with a click. Files picked while creating a task are uploaded as soon as the task is saved.
Other features
When a task keeps coming back
Schedule a task with the same title and time on the same weekday in two different weeks, and right after you finish scheduling you’ll be offered a one-click way to make it a real weekly-recurring task — no need to set up recurrence by hand. Say yes, and the next occurrence appears on its own the following week (marking a recurring task Done is what spawns its next occurrence, same as recurring tasks anywhere else in the app). When one does, the morning you open Today’s Tasks that day starts with a quick “here’s what’s already lined up” greeting instead of the blank add-task screen.
Other features
Letting someone plan your day for you
Click Delegates at the top of the schedule screen to let someone else run this whole ritual on your behalf — a personal assistant handling your planning and reporting, exactly as if they were you for this one purpose.
| Who you’re granting to | How it works |
|---|---|
| A company member | Pick them from the list — access is immediate. |
| Someone outside your company | Enter their email instead. They get an invite link (and, if they don’t already have an account, one is created for them) and must accept before anything works. |
Once someone has accepted, they see a Plan their day button — for you specifically — either in their own Delegates panel, or, if Today’s Tasks is the only thing their account can do, on a simple screen right when they log in. Anything they add or complete shows up as yours, exactly as if you’d done it yourself; nothing about it interrupts you unless you deliberately open the flow together. Revoke access any time from the same Delegates panel.

What this feature doesn’t do
Granting delegate access does not give someone a login to your other modules, your financial data, or anything beyond planning/reporting through this one flow.
Only a deliberate Plan their day click opens another person’s Today’s Tasks — the automatic background reminders are always about your own day.
